Unnecessary things must be avoided 

The purchase of useless things must be prevented to keep the area clean. If you don’t need any stuff, then you should not buy them. As by this not only your money is consumed, but a lot of space to is required to put them which at times is not available and also makes your room look untidy.

A clean kitchen

Having a clean and clear dishwasher not only makes your kitchen clean but also makes your work easy. But this part of the kitchen is mostly neglected while cleaning the house. It is important that before cooking one should make sure that the sink is clear and all the used utensils must be clean so that the sink is vacant.

Organization of all the items

To live a fruitful life, it is essential to be organized. Organization of all the things in all the fields is important to live a successful life. If we talk about cleaning the space, then its organization and placement of stuff in it properly are significant. This eases your work and also saves your time. All the items should be kept at a particular place. Cupboards, desks, shelves, cabinets must be tidy, and you should make sure that they contain only their particular things.

Cleaning day 

One day of the week must be designated as the cleaning day. The whole room, bathroom, and kitchen should be adequately cleaned. This will help you in maintaining the tidiness of your surroundings. Along with that, at least one day in the month should be designated as the deep cleaning of everything for even better results.

Smaller and appropriate furniture

Furniture is an essential part of every home. But having a lot of furniture can cause a problem in cleaning it and also requires a lot of space which at times is not much available. Therefore in such situations, one should prefer and keep some basic furniture only. Furniture can be of any size. Another problem faced is the rough edges of the tiles these can be cleaned by using the tile saw.

Regulate Chemical Levels -

The ph of the water decides the alkaline or acidic range which is used as evidence that how efficiently Chlorine is working to keep the water clear. In case, the levels are not as per requirements, take necessary steps accordingly.

Skimming - 

Skimming is a technique which is used to remove the leaves and debris from the surface of the water. Try to always make use of a long skimmer. It will not only collect the leaves but insects and other debris too. The main reason behind skimming is that all minute dust particles and even other materials can be washed out with backwashing but dry and hard garbage either remains on the surface or get stuck in the lanes. 

Backwashing The Pool -

The process of cleaning the filter to keep the water clean for a long time is known as Backwashing. To refresh the pool, we must clean the filter every now and then, and hence water is made to flow in the opposite direction to achieve the objective. Whenever the pool water appears to be hazy and cloudy, mark it, that backwashing time has arrived.

Brushing - 

Dirt often sediments at the base and on the sides of the pool. This can be removed only by brushing. Use a firm brush to perform this act. Once the dirt subsidies towards the drain, it can be removed by vacuum pumps.

Checking The Circulation - 

The whole water circulation system should be intact. All the filters drain, skimmers, strainers, and pumps should be regularly maintained in order to achieve maximum efficiency while cleaning the pool. Surprisingly, this whole set up helps in regulating chemical balance. It is beneficial to run the pump fully once in a day so that water is easily filtered.

Shock Treatment -

Shock treatments are opted to remove the algae, bacteria and any other organic matter which forms a separate layer in the water. It is advisable to fully chlorinate or shock the pool once in a week so that proper cleaning of the pool can be done and fresh water should again be poured.

Step 3. Spray paint the block following the dry times and directions on your particular spray paint can. Each block will need at least two coats. You can easily make another mask and paint two or more blocks at a time. Pay attention to which sides of the blocks you are painting and be sure they correspond with the pattern you intend to create on the finished planter.

Fortunately, an online friend told me few days ago how to get rid of fruit flies, easily, cheaply, safely, and EFFECTIVELY. Before this, every summer, I end up with at least one fruit fly infestation, and for years, I thought there was no easy way to get rid of fruit flies.

Disclaimer: No fruit flies were harmed or killed in the writing of this post. (But we can’t say we’d be sad if they had been). Don't kill the bees, They are very useful for our food and everything else sorry to nag but its important not to kill them.

Don’t be embarrassed if you have a fruit fly problem—it happens to the best of us. The little buggers seem to come from nowhere and are practically impossible to get rid of. But every problem must have some solutions. We will discuss in the next five minutes.

What’s the only creature that loves fruit more than you do? Fruit flies. In the world of science, they’re known as drosophila and have been crucial in the understanding of basic genetics. But in the world of your kitchen, they’re known as annoying black specks—so small you wonder if you’re hallucinating—that orbit around your face every time you try to eat.

There are a number of things you could do to prevent fruit fly infestations, like keeping rotting or overripe fruit out of your living space, but once they are in your house… well they just seem to never go away.

To rid your kitchen of fruit flies, the first step is to destroy their breeding ground. Fruit flies lay eggs on the surface of ripening fruit, so for the time being, move your produce into the fridge. Fruit flies also spawn in sink drains, garbage disposals, empty bottles, and damp sponges, so be extra vigilant with your kitchen clean-up.

How to Get Rid of Fruit Flies

DIY ways to get rid of fruit flies: Step by step easy and DIY method to kill the little enemy.
Step 1:
Take a wide mouth jar and fill it 1/2 — 3/4 of the way full with apple cider vinegar. No other vinegar will work, It has to be apple cider vinegar.

We recommend using apple cider vinegar as bait. Heat it for 10 seconds in the microwave to help release the fragrances that attract the flies. If you don’t have vinegar on hand, wine, tequila, and rotten or ripe fruit will also attract fruit flies.

Step 2:
Add a few drops of dish soap, then fill the rest of the jar with water until the bubbles reach the rim of the jar.

Step 3:
Finally, in the words of my lovely friend…. WATCH THE CARNAGE.
If you leave that jar alone for a few hours, the fruit flies will come. TRUST ME. THEY WILL COME. 

How to Get Rid of Fruit Flies DIY Method 2

In order to break free of the fruit fly shackles, you must kill adult flies. You can purchase traps, but these DIY methods are as, if not more, effective.

The Funnel Method

Take a sheet of paper and form a cone-shaped funnel. Seal the funnel with tape and stick it into a jar or wine bottle that’s baited with a small amount of apple cider vinegar or a ripe banana. Place the trap in the most afflicted area of your kitchen. The flies, not clever enough to realize that they can exit by way of the entrance, will accumulate in the jar. Once you’ve amassed a nice collection, either spray them with insecticide or, if you’re an animal lover (and a risk-taker), release them into the great outdoors.

Where do fruit flies come from

That stuff can be ripened fruits or vegetables, as well as drains, garbage disposals, empty bottles and cans, trash bags, or cleaning rags and mops. Fruit flies lay their eggs — up to 500 at a time — on these moist surfaces. When the larvae hatch, they feed on the surface

Fruit Fly Identification

Fruit flies are small flies measuring about 1/8 inch in length, including their wings.  Click here to see image of Fruit Fly.  The key identifying characteristic of the fruit fly is its eyes, which are red in color.  The head and thorax are tan in color with the abdomen somewhat darker. 
This fly is easily mistaken for the Phorid fly which has very similar markings but lacks red eye color. 

The Phorid fly also has a "humped back" appearance.   Without the aid of a microscope or a good field magnifying glass, fruit flies would merely fall into the category of Small Flies, with elimination methods being similar for all flies in this category.
