What are the good daily routines of successful entrepreneurs? Successful leaders cultivate effective daily habits to provide them with that extra advantage. Want to avoid running your company into the ground? Do these daily things to keep your business healthy. 
 
Over the last few years, more and more strategists are opting out of careers with the major corporate in favor of trying something new and dynamic in the hope their start up will be the next Uber or Spotify.

But to make it as a modern day entrepreneur you need more than just a creative and unique idea and strong work ethic. Running your own show can be lonely, all consuming and without proper discipline, procrastination can take over. Having a very small business on the side of my day job, I know only too well the evil that is procrastination.

However creating the right habits from the offset will not only result in you being more productive and feeling less overwhelmed, it will allow you to enjoy the experience of becoming the next Mark Zuckerberg.

1/ Create a routine… Get up at the same time everyday as if you were going to the office. This is a full time job after all.

2/ Use your mornings to tackle the toughest projects. Don’t put off that thing you have been avoiding, get it done and it will feel great to have it behind you and that feeling will help carry you through the day.

3/ Make time to work out and meditate. It's been proven that after just a few weeks of regular exercise and working on mindfulness, productivity and happiness will increase tenfold.

4/ Plan for you next day's tasks the day before. Make sure you’re aware of any meetings or calls for the following day. You can also use this opportunity to schedule time in your calendar to accomplish any remaining items from the day’s to-do list.

5/ Always block out time in your schedule for revenue generating activities. It is easy to get carried away tackling all the administrative tasks if this is not set in stone in your diary.

6/ Track your progress… That which is measured, improves!

7/ Give yourself quality time with loved ones. Give yourself a break. Don’t let the guilt of neglecting family and friends set in, you will need their support to get you through the tough times.

8/ Encourage those around you to come to you with solutions not problems. Create solution-generating employees and you’ll increase your value as a leader.

9/ Use each day for a separate business activity. The best way for any business to fuel higher productivity and more innovative thinking is to strongly encourage finite periods of absorbed focus.

10/ Never stop learning!  Fail fast and learn from mistakes. It’s all part of the process.
