Notes:

• You can not use the Xbox Gift Card to directly purchase an Xbox Live Gold subscription or any other subscription service.

What can you buy with a Windows Gift Card?

Windows Gift Cards work just like Xbox Gift Cards and are an excellent way to get the latest games, applications, and entertainment from the Windows Store. When you have redeemed your Windows gift card in your Microsoft account, use it to purchase content from any participating Microsoft online store, including Windows Phone and Xbox stores.

What can I buy with a prepaid Xbox Live Gold subscription code?

You can use a prepaid Xbox Live Gold subscription code to purchase a 1, 3 or 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription and use it on your Xbox console. You can not buy anything else with this type of prepaid code.

Other prepaid codes

What can you buy with other types of prepaid codes?

In addition to Xbox gift cards, Windows gift cards, and prepaid Xbox Live Gold membership codes, there are other types of prepaid codes for specific items.

Examples include the EA Access Pass for an Xbox One download code, pre-paid download codes for specific games, downloadable content codes for specific games, and the Groove Music Pass digital system.

These prepaid codes can only be used to purchase the desired Xbox subscription or content. You can not buy anything else with this type of prepaid system.
