Here are steps to submit site to yandex


Step 1.
First head over to the Yandex Webmaster Tools website. (http://webmaster.yandex.com/) If you don’t have a Yandex account you can always signup for a free one.

Step 2.
 After signing up, go to the sites page http://webmaster.yandex.com/sites/ and click on the “Add Site” button.

Step 3.
 Then input your domain and click on the “add” button.

Step 4.
 It will now ask you to verify your website. There are a couple of options to choose from. I recommend option the meta tag option. Go ahead and copy the meta tag.

Step 5.
If you are running WordPress I highly suggest installing the WordPress SEO plugin. Once installed, go down to the “SEO” section and click on dashboard. Paste your Yandex meta tag into the Yandex section and click “Save Settings.”

If you aren’t running WordPress, simply place the meta tag into the header section of your website.

Step 6
Now back in Yandex, click on the “Check” button.
Congratulations! You've connected your website to Yandex Webmaster Tools. Now you can use the dashboard tools to submit your sitemap and robots.txt files.

Deleting a Site and Revoking Access

All the verified sites will appear in “My Sites” section of your account and you can delete your site any time later if you want. Note deleting or adding your site in Webmaster Tools account will not affect your site’s ranking in search results. Verifying a site will inform search engines that the site is created by a human and there exist a site owner to monitor the performance of the site in the search engine.

Remove URL

"If a webpage on your site no longer exists, or for whatever reason you do not want it to appear in Yandex search results, you can speed up the process of removing it from the Yandex search database by entering the relevant URL below. For the page to be removed, it's essential that your server returns a code 404 error when the request is made, or that this page has been prevented from being indexed in the robots.txt file, you can also use a noindex meta tag."

In addition site owners can use the free features like Sitemap submission, Preferred Domain setting and Geographic setting.You also have an option to revoke the verification rights anytime later for a particular site added in your account and the option is available under the “Verification” tab as shown in the below picture.
