To be in first page of SERP you must increase domain authority of your blog. Domain Authority is a metric used to find out the Influence of a website in Search Engines. The better domain authority a website has, the more likely it is to be dominating in Search Engines.
What is Domain Authority?
Domain Authority is a metric invented by Moz, one of the world’s leading authorities on SEO. DA is a
score (on a 100-point scale) developed by Moz that predicts how well a
website will rank on search engines. It is generally based on age, popularity and size. Use DA when comparing one site to another or tracking the “strength” of your website over time. We calculate this metric by combining all of our other link metrics—linking root domains, the number of total links, MozRank, MozTrust, and many other factors—into a single score. What is the Moz?
Moz
is a software as a service (SaaS) company based in Seattle, Washington,
U.S.A., that sells inbound marketing and marketing analytics software
subscriptions. It was founded by Rand Fishkin and Gillian Muessig in
2004 as a consulting firm and shifted to software development in 2008.
How to check domain authority (DA)
If you are using Google Chrome then You can install MOZ chrome addon/extension which is called MOZ Bar to check DA and page authority. Its the most easiest way to check DA on the go. You don't need to go any other website to do it. Which will also allow you to check DA of each and every domain, not only that you can also check Page Authority (PA), do page analysis, check social share and many more things. Another alternatives is you can use Moz open site explorer for more detail about the page or domain. This resource is free to use in limited terms. However if you wants to use Pro version you have to spend some money. But it will be worth of the information you will get.
Why DA is so Important to you?
DA is no official metric by google, but DA provides a good indicator of your online authority. Increasing Domain Authority can be hard, but if you can do it, it will be very beneficial to your website/blog.
DA signal helps to determine a blog or website to rank on Search engine. However there are more metrics to determine but DA is major one.

How to Increase Domain Authority?
By reading above, you can guess a brand new website or blog will start with a DA score of 0 or 1. Yes its Zero. Very well established websites like Google, Facebook, Wikipedia, YouTube, Pinterest, WordPress has DA scores close to 100. Don't think you can get it. It's very hard to get a DA score that high. Most Good sites/blogs don’t even cross 50 – 60 range. If you got 50 Its good to go.

Moz explains, for improving DA, you need to optimize your site for search engine. It includes all SEO factors like On-Page SEO, On-Site & Off-Page SEO. Keywords, Meta Tags Etc. Simply anything you need to do for SEO. Learn how search engine rank web pages.

As always I say in many of my article related to SEO; content is King. Great content means more trust from users and moz. You’ve to practice some best content marketing strategy to get the best results. Writing nothing is better than writing bad contents. Link between your article to another one. But its must be related and helpful, no misleading linking allowed. Internal linking is very important around the internet & SEO articles. Because Internal linking has a lot of benefits which also include blog’s Domain Authority. Build internal link wisely, It helps to increase DA. Also Internal linking helps the crawlers to index web pages properly.
4. External Linking / Building Backlinks
This is the most important part of increasing domain authority. Use link building strategies to increase backlinks to your blog.Build on quality backlinks. If you have great contents you may get some backlinks from some good sites.

authority sites that are relevant to your topic are better than lots of
links from other domains.
Find your niche blog and try to contact the author or admin and ask for a link to your best article. (Best article because, many blog owner will not give you link back, because they might think to lose their search rank if your web page is not good enough).
I saw many blog owner use well trick to get quality backlinks, Such as, infographic, Guest posting, Review writing, Writing Featured Author article and more..
For example: If you have a good inphographic and you post it to your blog, you can allow your readers to share your infographic to others website by giving a embed code.
Bad links can affect your DA score. Check Google Webmaster Tools to see if there are any warnings regarding bad links. When you found fix it immediately.

When you submit your website to SEO web directories then you get quality backlinks from them. These links are do-follow links and can increase domain authority of your site. It may take some time to update, but don't be worried, it will give you the thing as they promised.
7. Domain Age
Domain age is another fact to moz. Domain age is an important SEO factor for Google ranking. The same way moz gives value to domain age. The older your domain is the higher value is your domain deserve to SEO and MOZ. Google considers in determining how to rank search engine results is the age of your domain. If you have a domain from 6-8 years old than it will have a good DA than a domain with 1 year old.

Also social media give you link juice. Backlinks from social media will tell MOZ and GOOGLE that this site contain a lot of trust worthy backlinks and rank it.

Usability or User Experience, is the art of making your website simple, user-friendly and easy to use. Make your blog user friendly. It should load quickly and be multi-device compatible, without featuring too many ads. Auto adjustable text, good looking and no popups or pop-under ads. If your site is well user friendly then more user will be engaged. Engagement rate will also help to increase DA.
10. Site Speed
As Google announced website speed would begin having an impact on search ranking. Keep in mind though, that page speed remains a ranking factor in Google’s algorithm for both desktop and mobile sites. Faster load times will indeed improve your ranking. If your site is slow then google will ignore it to show up in SERP specially for mobile device.

Your web page url should be short and relevant to increase site value to SEO. Very long url can be ignored or go down by Search engine crawlers. Google recently announced that short url will play a important role in SEO. According To Google short URL is more SEO friendly then Long URL. So keep your pages url short as possible.

Use different variations of the keyword you are trying to link your internal pages, and make sure not all the linking phrases have the same kind of keywords or anchor text links attached to it.

If you can not do all these things above I mentoned to Increase Domain Autority, put someone else in charge of building your DA, find a brand that well reputed in Search Engine Optimization. First you should find someone from your local place, if you do not prefer, then you can hire someone from the global market. Give a try on Fiverr or PeoplePerHour or similar freelance site to find someone who will do your job.
Good SEO services should slowly and holistically increase domain authority. Judge them first and then trust them, but don't forget to check all their progress before you pay someone.
How Often Does Moz Update a Site’s DA?
On average, Moz updates its index every 4 to 6 weeks. The last update was on 31st March 2016 (When I'm writing this post) and the next update is slated for 10th of May 2016 (Predicted).
