It is also a three day Eid and associated with poor people as the meat from the sacrificed animal is equally distributed among the poor. It is indeed a good way to share good things with people who cannot afford this. It is a great example of non discriminatory society which is a basic teaching of Islam.

Eid ul fitar is a religious festival of Muslims which is celebrated on 1st of Shawal which is a holy month of Muslims. How Do We Say Eid Mubarak In Arabic?

Eid mubarak ( عيد مبارك) is a traditional Muslim greeting reserved for use on the festivals of Eid ul-Adha and Eid ul-Fitr.
