An entrepreneur is an artist who might create the map he wants to walk on, and it will be more easier if they start with a great planning of the year ahead. personally I don't love to predict my business, but I have to plan it. And this year, I have made my new year's resolutions for the success in both personal and professional life.

December is the perfect month to see our friends, eat up to satiate, toast, to exchange gifts and to meet with our relatives. But it is also the ideal season to reflect on our habits and, in general, the way we have decided to lead our lives.

12 New Year's Resolutions Ideas For Entrepreneurs

What would happen if we set out to cultivate habits that would benefit us not only as professionals but also as people?
These are 12 purposes that the entrepreneurs (and all the people of this world) should do. And of course, meet.
  • Be less dependent on the cell.

Yes, we are modern and busy people, and we have to be reachable 24/7 ... or maybe not? Next year, it would do us no harm to learn to free ourselves from the tyranny of our Smartphone and to limit ourselves to use it when strictly necessary. Reapply to enjoy the real life and the people that are around us.
  • Do something to benefit our environment.

Support a cause in which you believe: you can allocate a percentage of your earnings to a foundation, enroll as a volunteer in one or - better yet! - create one from scratch. Return to the world something of how much it has given you.
  • Take refresher courses.

Perhaps you are an expert in your field, but if you conform to that, you will be lost. Keep in mind that the world changes every day, and if you do not ride the train and keep up to date, sooner or later you'll be back in the race. Sign up for courses, take classes from home, talk to experts to broaden your outlook.
  • Read.

You're so busy the day you can not find a second to sit down and read ... right? Believe us: this is nothing more than a pretext. Propose to read at least 10 minutes a day. Choose a fun and interesting book, which is difficult to release.

  • Live with less stress.

Your physical and mental health should be a priority. No board, sale, position or company is worth more than that. Propose not to load on your back more work than you can solve without compromising your well-being.
  • Dedicate more time to being with ourselves.

We value the time we spend on our hobbies, to exercise, to rest and to be with our friends just as we value the hours we dedicate to work. Time for self should never be the time left over.
  • Begin to meditate.

Taking a few minutes to meditate is tantamount to finding an oasis of calm in the midst of chaos. Suggest to meditate for at least five minutes a day; Wake up a little earlier and do it before your day starts. Also, take a moment to breathe and reconnect with yourself before going to sleep
  • Learn to say "no".

If we did a count of all the times we agreed to do something we really did not want to do, maybe the number would go up to thousands. Learning to set limits is learning to respect ourselves and getting others to respect us.
  • Learn something completely new.

Make sure this learning has nothing to do with your professional experience; You can learn a new language, take cooking classes, become an expert in gardening ... the options are limitless.
  • Be responsible.

Let each and every one of our actions - including our business decisions - respect our values, those of other people and the environment. Let us avoid acting without considering the consequences.
  • Get away from negative people.

It says the saying "tell me who you meet and I'll tell you who you are", and this could not be truer. The people around you, from both your closest and distant circles, greatly influence your mood and your attitudes towards life. Surrounding you with positive people, who inspire you to improve, is a matter of first necessity.
  • Do not be so picky about yourself.

Allow yourself to fail. Recognize your limits. Understand that you do not have to prove anything to anyone, that the only important thing is to find a balance point that allows you to be happy.
