Apple wants to teach you how to code Apps. If you are interested in learning how to code and design mobile apps, the giant tech company Apple give you a chance to learning apps coding for free of cost. 

 Apple introduced this week a free course for high school and college students.


The company designed a course that you can download from the iBook Store that will show you how to "code and design functional applications".

 The material, which can be taken over the course of a year, can be freely downloaded from the iBook Store. The syllabus was developed by Apple engineers and teachers using the programming language Sweift (the one that is present in the iPhones). Many famous apps like Airbnb, Kayak, TripAdvisor, Venmo and Yelp were developed with Swift.

The curriculum will also be free on iBooks for anyone to download and teach themselves. But with 180 hours of training with lesson plans, instruction, and exercises for teachers, Apple is hoping it will feature heavily in college classrooms.

 Students completing the course "will gain critical skills in software development and information technology," Apple said.

 In a statement, Apple CEO Tim Cook said "the apps and software creation sector is the fastest growing job creation in the American economy."

 It is not known when it will be available to the rest of the world, but the course will be available in the fall for US community colleges.

 This effort comes after Apple 's promise nearly a month ago to invest $ 1 billion in the creation of "advanced manufacturing" jobs in the United States.
