How do I get a coupon code and how do I use it?

A voucher sometimes referred to as a promotional code or free credit, is a way for new customers to test Bing Ads. Although you can not request coupons, vouchers will be distributed to advertising campaigns, online marketing activities, or other special offers from Bing Ads.

• After adding a Bing Ads coupon code, it may take up to 10 minutes for the coupon balance to be added to your advertising account and displayed on the Payroll tab.

Requirements for Bing Ads Coupon

• Authorized new customers usually receive a coupon code within 3 days after the account setup.
• Before you can redeem your coupon, a primary payment method must have been set for your account. As a rule, later-payment accounts can use credit or debit cards, and pre-paid accounts can use credit and debit cards as well as PayPal accounts (US dollar-denominated accounts only). You can not redeem your voucher if you have an account with prepayment and pay by check, bank transfer or other transfer.
• Promotional vouchers for new customers must be redeemed within 30 days after registration for Bing Ads.
• You (or someone else) may not have redeemed the coupon for this or any other account.
• The date on the voucher must be current. The start and end dates can be found in the details of the coupon.
• After redeeming a voucher, it must be used within 90 days or until the expiration date, whichever is earlier. The total amount must be paid before the expiry of the voucher.
• Vouchers can not be used to pay for an existing balance.
• After a coupon expires or the voucher is exhausted, your ads will continue to run, and we will debit your primary payment method (account with late fee) or withdraw funds (prepayment account). If you have an account with prepayment and no funds are available, we pause the account.

How to Add Coupon Code in Bing Ads?

If you already have a primary payment method:

• Click the gear icon, and then click Accounts and Billing.
• If you have multiple accounts, select an account from the drop-down list at the top of the page.
• In the voucher section, enter the coupon code, and then click Redeem.

If you have not yet added a payment method:

• Click the gear icon, and then click Accounts and Billing.
• Click the Payment Methods tab.
• Click Add Card. (If you want to use PayPal instead of a card, see Add a PayPal account.)
• Select the country or region to which the invoice address of your card refers, and click Next.
• Next to Set as primary, select Primary.
• Enter your payment information and the billing address, and then click Next.
• To check your card, we charge a flat authorization fee (e.g. 1 USD). This load is later removed.
• Click the Accounts tab.
• In the Voucher section, enter the promo code, and then click Redeem.

What happens after redeeming the coupon?

• After you have added a coupon code, you will be notified that the code has been added successfully, and you will receive a notification email.
• It may take up to 10 minutes for your balance to appear in your Bing Ads account. During this time, Bing Ads charges your primary payment method, unless you pause your campaign.
• Once your voucher is displayed on the Billing tab, and your campaign is active, Bing Ads deducts your promotional costs from the voucher balance until the coupon expires or expires.
• After that, your primary payment method will be debited (account with next payment and billing limit) or funds will be deducted from your account (prepayment account).
